Why Am I Formal?

I speak
with purpose.
I try
to make
What I’m saying
clear.
Not a
single
Curse word,
to slip
from my mouth.
Everyone else does,
So why
don’t I?

    I love how you make this poem seem to come from a person outside of the general group of people. Though you do not even once mention it, you create the feeling that the speaker (or the main character) is different from everyone else and may be seen by everyone else as different or strange. Great job!
